Large part of my activity is moved by my desire to research and personalize historical decorations, re-proposing these under a particular and subjective light.
And hence the idea of adding to the majolica, materials such as murrina glass, sand, compounds of wax and bitumen. The realism of the previous lines is now replaced by a stylization of the figures in a symbolic or simply decorative perspective, with the intention, today as then, of creating unique and precious objects as imitation of historical styles. My main model and inspiration is Gustav Klimt, in his works the decorations are no longer marginal to the main subject, but rather emphasized and central. Here, the faces are embedded in a tangle of precious and shiny materials, in a combination of shapes and harmonies perfect for the majolica tiles.
